Our team included a group of Australian doctors (Matt, Tony and James) whose reputation amongst the backcountry ski world preceeded their expedition to Antarctica, together with their American guide, Keith, Tony's wife Ruth, and James' daughters Hilary and Catherine. After a ski traverse of Deception Island ski ascents were made, despite challenging ice and weather, on Two-Hummock Island, Igloo Hill, Harris Peak, Jabet Peak, Central Peak and two un-named virgin peaks above Hughes Bay.
